Terms of Sale

These Terms of Sale govern the sale of products and services by Iconicrafts to its clients. By placing an order or signing a quote, you accept these terms.

1. Products and services

Iconicrafts designs and produces limited-edition furniture and design pieces — typically reborn from decommissioned alpine chairlifts, gondolas and traditional mountain objects. Each piece is hand-finished and numbered. Photographs and renderings on the site are indicative; small variations in colour, patina or grain are inherent to handcrafted, reused materials.

2. Orders

An order is confirmed only once Iconicrafts has acknowledged it in writing (email or signed quote) and the down-payment has been received. The order then becomes binding on both parties.

3. Prices

Prices are listed in Swiss francs (CHF) and exclude VAT, delivery, installation and any applicable customs duties unless otherwise stated. The price applicable to your order is the price confirmed in the written acknowledgement.

4. Payment

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a 50% down-payment is due to confirm the order and the balance is due before delivery or installation. Payment is made by Swiss bank transfer. Late payments may incur interest at the legal Swiss rate.

5. Lead times

Lead times are indicative and depend on workshop capacity, sourcing of legacy materials and any custom finishes. Iconicrafts will keep you informed of progress. Delays alone do not give rise to cancellation or compensation.

6. Delivery and installation

Delivery terms (location, packaging, transport, installation) are agreed on a per-project basis and detailed in the quote. Risk transfers to you upon delivery at the agreed location.

7. Right of withdrawal

Because each piece is produced specifically for you, made-to-order and custom items are not eligible for a right of withdrawal under Swiss consumer law. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding defects.

8. Warranty

Iconicrafts warrants its pieces against hidden manufacturing defects for twenty-four (24) months from delivery, in line with Swiss law. The warranty does not cover normal wear, patina evolution typical of reclaimed metal and wood, or damage caused by misuse, accident, modifications, or improper outdoor exposure.

9. Intellectual property

All designs, drawings, photographs and identifiers used by Iconicrafts remain the property of Iconicrafts. You may not reproduce or commercialise them without prior written consent.

10. Liability

Iconicrafts' liability is limited, to the maximum extent permitted by law, to the amount actually paid for the piece concerned. Iconicrafts is not liable for indirect, immaterial or consequential damages.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Valais, Switzerland.
